Regional Info:

Our team at Connecticut’s Ninja Academies has worked extremely hard to move past recent events that have affected our community. We were profoundly impacted by these events and believe there is no place for those actions in any community. We have been working to move forward positively and safely for all. Our programs are much larger than any one person, and we are committed to doing whatever it takes to provide a safe and secure environment for people of all ages. Our staff have made our gyms what they are today and they should be commended, respected, and celebrated for their enduring commitment to all ninjas, to the sport of ninja warrior, and for their personal fortitude in bravely moving forward from the tragedy they suffered.

Our team has worked extremely hard to make our gyms what they are today. Our mission statement is “Together we will overcome all obstacles”.- developed by Thomas Alberti. We have been working together to overcome and build from this terrible tragedy. We have been recovering as a family through group discussions and therapy sessions. We understand healing takes time, and some may not be fully healed from the events that took place. However, we remain committed to further educating ourselves to provide the safest and most comfortable conditions to the ninja community.

While we understand and respect how some members of the community might feel, we would still like to clear up some misinformation:

We are currently in the process of legally changing our name and ownership structure. Unfortunately, the process for changing names and ownership of a business can take a significant amount of time. We have been working with our attorneys and trademark authorities since August of 2020 to change our name and ownership structure legally. We will continue to pursue all legal options until our ownership structure and brand reflects our organizational values.

Currently, Windsor and Stamford Ninja Academy’s are solely operated by Thomas Alberti. Hamden Ninja Academy is exclusively owned and operated by Thomas Alberti. No owner other than Thomas Alberti has received any form of compensation since August of 2020 and will not receive any form of compensation moving forward from any of the Ninja Academy’s or the Franchise company. Hamden Ninja Academy) is and always has been 100% solely owned by Thomas Alberti.

Our team did not request regionals. The NNL selected us because our location is one of the largest, most centrally located facilities in the region. Our team has made significant efforts to move forward from the tragic events of last summer. Our staff has gone through abuse prevention training, background screening and have become National Ninja League certified coaches. We felt ready to host such a prestigious event and provide a comfortable environment for all. However, we understand and respect the community’s feelings and want to make sure everyone’s concerns are addressed.

Our team is ready to move forward and continue the healing process. We are willing to work with the community to ensure all ninjas feel welcomed at our locations.

Our team at the Windsor Ninja Academy has decided to relinquish hosting Regionals out of respect for the community’s voices. We respect and understand the community may not be fully healed, and we will continue our work to show the community we are learning and growing from this experience. We hope the community can see we are fighting to move forward from this tragedy and will always put the needs of the community first.
